Call for Papers

The DEMoC-2017 is the 6th international workshop and will serve as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas regarding with Data Engineering and Mobile Computing. The aim of this workshop is to bring together practitioners and researchers from both academia and industry in order to have a forum for discussion and technical presentations on the current researches and future research directions related to this hot research area.

  • Operating System and Middleware Support

  • XML Data Models, Query Processing and Data Management
  • Ontology Creation, Searching, Extraction, and Evolution
  • Web Data Mining, Exploration, and Visualization
  • Web Semantics Content Creation, Annotation, and Extraction
  • E-application Design Models and Methods
  • Social Search and the Use of "human computing" in Web Search
  • Mobile and Ubiquitous Information and Service Integration
  • Internet Streaming Media Applications

Paper Submission

Authors should submit a paper to DEMoC workshop with maximum 10 pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references. However, authors can add up to 2 extra pages with the appropriate fee payment.

Papers must be prepared using the Lecture Notes Style of Springer Proceedings (download from HERE source files), and must be formatted in PDF format.

All papers will be refereed by members of the program committee.

All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings of Lecture Notes in Data Engineering and Communication Technologies series published by Springer. Proceedings will be sent by Springer for indexing in EI and SCOPUS.

  • Notification of Acceptance: June 5, 2017
  • Registration: June 20, 2017
  • Camera-Ready Submission: June 20, 2017
  • Workshop Dates: August 24-26, 2017 (one day)
