The 7th International Workshop on Advanced Distributed and Parallel Network Applications (ADPNA-2013) will be held in conjunction with the 16th International Conference on Network-Based Information Systems (NBiS-2013) in Gwangiu, Korea from September 4th to September 6th, 2013.

The ADPNA-2013 covers novel theories, designs, and applications on distributed and parallel computing systems. Various types of computers are interconnected in communication networks. Networks of today are going through a rapid evolution and are giving a great influence to our society. In addition, computing models are changing to new architecture like Croud computing, Grid computing and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) computing models. For this reason, it is significant to discuss how to design and realize high-performance computation models and network applications for distributed and parallel systems.

The ADPNA-2013 International Workshop seeks original contributions in all relevant areas, including but not limited to the following topics. Papers of high quality in the following areas will be invited:

TOPICS:
  • Cloud, Grid, and P2P Computing
  • Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks
  • Mobile Networks and Applications
  • Distributed Database and Data Mining
  • Internet Computing and Web Applications
  • Agent and Intelligent Computing
  • Communication Technology and Protocols
  • Dependable and Autonomic Systems
  • Distributed and Parallel Algorithms
  • Fault-tolerant and Dependable System
  • Multimedia Tools and Applications
  • Network Control and Performance Evaluation
